Nannochloropsis oculata concentrated green microalgae. Suitable for the nourishment of rotifers, artemia, copepods, mussels in their different developmental phases and green water systems. Small in size (1-3 µm), contains high levels of PUFAs (EPA, DHA, ARA). Produced and packed in sterile conditions, it ensures a complete nutrition, enhancing growth and the vitality of the cultivar. Allows for the reduction in operational costs by diminishing on-site microalgae production requirements, and makes year-round larval production feasible.
Features
Destination and Usage Recommendations:
- Rotifers and Brine shrimp: add 1mL Nannochloropsis 18% to feed 250K rotifers/day.
- DHA's enrichment: mix 12 parts Isochrysis 6% with 1 part Nannochloropsis 18%. One mL of the mix will feed 80K to 120K type L rotifers/day. Type S and type SS rotifers will require a lower quantity of microalgae.
- Green water systems: add 11 mL Nannochloropsis 18% per m3 and day. We recommend the supply of microalgae several times a day (>6) in order to ensure their constant consumption by the cultivar.
Observations
Nannochloropsis 18% can be stored refrigerated (-2 / 4º C) for up 12 to 14 weeks, or frozen (-20 ºC) for up to 1 year, retaining its nutritional value in full. Please contact our Commercial Office at ventas@acuinuga.com for further details.
