Concentrated microalgae, unicellular flagellate species from the freshwater/brackish environments belonging to the genus Haematococcus. Medium-sized algae (5-25 microns), lipid and carbohydrate-rich, with high antioxidants, carotenoids and astaxanthin contents. Suitable as a dietary supplement for crustacean larvae and post larvae, for rotifer enrichment in the larval culture of fish, as colourant and natural immunostimulant in ornamental fish feeds and as natural inducer of salmonization in rainbow trout diets. Produced and packed in hygienic conditions, it ensures a complete nutrition, enhancing growth and the vitality of the cultivar. Allows for the reduction in operational costs by diminishing on-site microalgae production requirements, making year-round larval production feasible.
Features
Destination and Usage Recommendations: Rotifers: add 1 mL of Haematococcus 18% to feed 250K rotifers/day. DHA enrichment: mix 12 parts of Isochrysis 18% with 1 part of Haematococcus 18%. Each mL will feed about 80K to 120K L-type rotifers/day. S and SS-type rotifers will require a smaller amount of algae. Supplement the ration to 0.1% of body weight/day in ornamental fish when used as natural colourant.
Availiability: Delivery time: 15 working days from order confirmation.
