With an annual economic impact of approximately €13 billion, contributing €6.5 billion to the national GDP and generating over 123,000 direct and indirect jobs, Spain is one of the most active countries in Europe when it comes to trade fairs.
Against this backdrop, the third edition of Aquafuture Spain, the International Aquaculture Industry Trade Show, will take place from May 20 to 22, 2025, at the IFEVI exhibition center in Vigo (Pontevedra, Spain).
Vigo, a dynamic and entrepreneurial medium-size city in northwest Spain, has historically stood out for its strong ties to maritime activities, including artisanal and industrial fishing, fish processing, and seafood trade. Several Spanish-owned fleets operating under EU flags—including those of Ireland, France, and Portugal—are based out of Vigo, reinforcing its role as a major hub for the seafood sector.
The 16,000 m² exhibition venue is strategically located near Vigo Airport and nearby hotels, making it easily accessible for visitors from across Spain and abroad.
The event is expected to bring together around 200 exhibitors from both national and international markets, along with hundreds of industry professionals.
In addition to the exhibition, conferences, presentations, and roundtable discussions will address key industry challenges, including technological advancements, environmental sustainability, market trends, species selection for aquaculture, and the evolving regulatory framework.
As in the previous edition held in Silleda in 2023, Acuinuga will be present at Stand No. E-03, showcasing its comprehensive range of products and services to support both marine and freshwater aquaculture.
Key offerings include:
- Water treatment and disinfection systems
- High-quality aquaculture seed supply
- Specialized nutritional products for aquaculture
- Production and processing equipment for aquatic species
- Aquaculture project development, analysis, and technical measurements
We are excited and looking forward to sharing this experience with everyone interested in this growing, fascinating, and diverse industry – see you in Vigo!
