Description

Marking systems specifically developed for fresh and/or saltwater fish, crustaceans and molluscs. Implanted microchips, alphanumeric marks and visible elastomers for injection into soft tissues. Marking allows the traceability and accurate identification of adults, juveniles and fry, broodstock monitoring in breeding programmes, growth assessment, accurate identification of groups and subgroups, etc. Manual or automated injection devices enabling the quick and easy identification of large or small stocks. Built in bioinert and robust materials. Accessories and spare parts available for all models.

Technical profile

Electronic microchips: Different sizes: (a) 11.5 mm x 2.1 mm (b) 14 mm x 2.1 mm (c) 18 mm x 3.9 mm. Unique coding capacity up to 70 trillion combinations. Hermetically sealed in biocompatible glass. Anti-migration coating. Application by syringe or pistol. Portable or desktop readers.

Alphanumeric marking kit: Includes 100 alphanumeric marks, injector manual, blue light flashlight, amber filters lens, needle sharpening stone, explanatory video and operating instructions.

Elastomer marking kit: for smaller numbers of animals. Contains Manual injector, 4-colour elastomers. Mixing and injection tools. Blue light flashlight, amber filter, lens case, explanatory video and detailed operating instructions.
